Bredsten Kirke

Bredsten Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Tørrild Herred in what was then Vejle Amt , then to Egtved Municipality in the expanded Vejle Amt , which was merged into the “new” Vejle Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

2222 inhabitants live in the parish, 1661 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Bredsten Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Jelling Sogn in the north, Skibet Sogn in the east, Ødsted Sogn in the south and Nørup Sogn in the west .

The open-air museum Vingsted Historiske Værksted , which has existed since the 1970s, is located in the municipality.
