Sankt Johannes Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Nørvang Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Vejle Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 57,655 inhabitants of Vejle, 5661 live in the parish of Saint John (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Sankt Johannes Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Hover Sogn in the north, Vor Frelsers Sogn in the east, Sankt Nikolaj Sogn in the south and Skibet Sogn in the west .
