Hornstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Nørvang Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Vejle Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

988 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Hornstrup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the east Engum Sogn , in the south Bredballe Sogn and Nørremarks Sogn , in the west Hover Sogn and in the north Grejs Sogn , further in the east neighboring Hedensted municipality Øster Snede Sogn .
