Jelling Kirke

Jelling Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Tørrild Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Jelling Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Vejle municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

4,386 inhabitants live in the parish, 3,522 of them in the former Jelling commune center (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Jelling Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the north Hvejsel Sogn , in the north-east Kollerup Sogn , in the east Grejs Sogn , in the south-east Hover Sogn , in the south Skibet Sogn and Bredsten Sogn , in the south-west Nørup Sogn in the west Gadbjerg Sogn and in the north-west Givskud Sogn .
