Bredstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Elbo Herred in what was then Vejle Amt , then to Fredericia Kommune in the expanded Vejle Amt , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

1671 inhabitants live in the parish, 472 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Bredstrup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Vejlby Sogn in the northeast, Christians Sogn and Hannerup Sogn in the east, Erritsø Sogn in the southeast, Taulov Sogn in the south and Herslev Sogn and Pjedsted Sogn in the west , and Gauerslund Sogn in the neighboring Vejle municipality to the north .
