Lyng Kirke

Lyng Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . The parish was created in 2004 by dividing Erritsø Sogn , which until 1970 belonged to Harde Elbo Herred in what was then Vejle Amt , then to Fredericia Municipality in the expanded Vejle Amt . Since the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 , the municipality and thus also the parish belong to the Syddanmark region .

Of the 40,981 inhabitants of Fredericia, 5389 live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Lyng Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Erritsø Sogn in the west and Hannerup Sogn at the northern tip of the municipality .
