Herslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Elbo Herred in what was then Vejle Amt , then to Fredericia Kommune in the expanded Vejle Amt , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

814 inhabitants live in the parish, 343 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Herslev Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Pjedsted Sogn in the northeast, Bredstrup Sogn in the east, Taulov Sogn in the southeast , and Sønder Vilstrup Sogn in the neighboring Kolding municipality to the west and Smidstrup Sogn in Vejle municipality .
