Hannerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Elbo Herred in what was then Vejle Amt , then to Fredericia Kommune in the expanded Vejle Amt , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

Of the 40,981 inhabitants of Fredericia, 9,467 live in the parish of Hannerup (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Hannerup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the north-west Bredstrup Sogn , in the north-east Christians Sogn , in the east Sankt Michaelis Sogn and in the south Lynd Sogn and Erritsø Sogn .
