Sønder Vilstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Brusk Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Kolding Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Kolding municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

325 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Sønder Vilstrup Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the southwest Eltang Sogn , in the west Almind Sogn and in the northwest Vluf Sogn , further in the north in the neighboring Vejle municipality Smidstrup Sogn and in the east neighboring Fredericia municipality Herslev Sogn and Taulov Sogn .
