Tyrstrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Sønder Tyrstrup Herred in what was then Haderslev Amt , then to Christiansfeld Kommune in the expanded Sønderjyllands Amt , which was merged into the “new” Kolding Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .
There are 3,805 inhabitants in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Tyrstrup Kirke".
Neighboring municipalities are in the west Frørup Sogn , in the north taps Sogn , in the northeast Vejstrup Sogn and east Aller Sogn , also in the neighboring Haderslev municipality in southern Fjelstrup Sogn , Bjerning Sogn and Moltrup Sogn and in the southwest Hjerndrup Sogn .
