Brændkjær Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in Kolding in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Brusk Herred in what was then Vejle Office , then to Kolding Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Kolding municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 61,121 inhabitants of Kolding, 6013 live in the parish of Brændkjær. (As of January 1, 2020). The church "Brændkjærkirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Dalby Sogn in the east, Vonsild Sogn in the south, Kristkirkens Sogn in the west and Sankt Nicolai Sogn in the north .
