Hjarup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Anst Herred in the then Ribe Office , then to Vamdrup Municipality in the expanded Vejle Office , which was merged into the "new" Kolding municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

565 inhabitants live in the parish, 425 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Hjarup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Skanderup Sogn in the north, Seest Sogn in the northeast, Vonsild Sogn in the east, Ødis Sogn in the south and Vamdrup Sogn in the west .
