Lindknud Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Malt Herred in the then Ribe office , then to the Brørup municipality in the expanded Ribe office , which was merged into the "new" Vejen municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

On October 1, 2010 the former church district Hovborg Kirkedistrikt in Lindknud Sogn became an independent Sogn Hovborg Sogn with the abolition of the Danish church districts .

In the parish of 813 inhabitants, of which 402 in Kirchdorf (: January 1, 2020. Stand) live. The church "Lindknud Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Åstrup Sogn and Holsted Sogn in the south-west, Brørup Sogn in the south, Læborg Sogn in the south-east and Bække Sogn in the east , and Vorbasse Sogn in the neighboring Billund municipality in the north-east and Hejnsvig Sogn in the north and Vester Starup Sogn in the north-west in the Varde municipality and Fåborg Sogn to the west.
