iamamiwhoami is an audiovisual project by the Swedish singer Jonna Emily Lee . The videos of the project have been distributed virally on YouTube since December 2009 .

history

The first six videos published were each only 50 to 90 seconds long and had number combinations as names. When transferred into the alphabet, these resulted in the following words: “educational”, “I am”, “it's me”, “mandragora”, “officinarum” and ““ welcome home ”. Each of these six video clips ends with a drawing of one Animal (goat, owl, whale, bee, llama, monkey).

The seventh video does not contain a numeric code, but is simply called b . It shows a woman wrapped in plastic at the piano, who is monitored by three men. The one with 6:52 minutes far longest clip is about o be seen in a greenhouse, in which a woman (as in the previous video probably the same). Videos u-1 and u-2 show a man running through a forest to a castle made of cardboard boxes or dancing in this castle. The woman from videos 7 and 8 does not appear this time. She returns in the eleventh video n , wrapped in various foods. In video t , her face can be fully recognized for the first time, as that of the Swedish singer Jonna Lee . In the run-up to the release of the first studio album Kin (2012) on towhomitmayconcern.cc and via the label association Cooperative Music, a video was put online for each track on the album. The album will be distributed on vinyl and CD along with a DVD containing these videos.
