I you we

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The I-You-We method is a didactic concept that goes back to the didacticians Peter Gallin and Urs Ruf.

Instead of presenting the teaching content directly, tasks, problems or puzzles are set in such a way that the student searches for an answer himself in the first phase.

This is followed by phases in which the student discusses things with his fellow banker and, depending on the concept, in a group of four. Only in the last phase is it about an agreement on how "WE" usually solve the problem.

Gallin and Ruf summarize this in three key sentences:

  • This is how i do it.
  • How do you do it?
  • We'll do that!

I-You-We is a sub-concept of dialogical learning .
