I love the beautiful Zürisee lake

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"I have a treasure on the beautiful Lake Zurich" is a Swiss love song. The text was written in 1941 by Buddy Bertinat (1912–1973) for the Schmid siblings with orchestral accompaniment from Teddy Stauffer and the original Teddies. Just like "Vo Luzern Uf Weggis Zue", "Guete Sunntig mitenand" and a few other Swiss hits, "Ich han en Schatz am Schöne Zürisee" developed into a popular folk song classic that has remained popular. One of the most famous adaptations is that of Rahel Tarelli from 2008.

Lyrics Züritüütsch Lyrics Hochdeutsch

I

I always like to go to the Zürisee,
Won I min sweetheart cha xee, hodulio

I love to love with all my heart,
S ot mer schüli wee,
Whenever I have to drink I have no xee

I have a treasure on beautiful Lake Zurich,
there is no more, hodulohuli,
That's why I always like to go to Lake Zurich,
Where I can see my treasure, hodulio

I like him with all my heart,
It hurt me very much,
When I had to think,
that I don't see him anymore today
