Ida Opitz

Ida Opitz (* in the 19th century ; date of death unknown ) was a German politician ( USPD ).

Life and politics

Ida Opitz became a member of the Independent Social Democratic Party (USPD) and moved to the Reuss Younger Line Landtag in Gera in 1919 . There she was one of three women among 18 men. She then worked from 1919 to 1923 in the joint parliament of the two Free States of Reuss ( People's State of Reuss ). In this 1919 four women met 32 ​​men. On March 31, 1921 Opitz resigned due to the downsizing of the regional representation, but rejoined on April 2, 1921 as a successor.

Opitz had no mandate in the state parliaments of the state of Thuringia , in which the Reuss state was incorporated.
