Ife (people)

The Ife are a people in Togo , Ghana and Benin who are also called Ana , Ana-Ife , Atakpame or Baate . The major part of this ethnic group lives in today's Togo with a population of approx. 113,000 people. Around 27,000 people live in Ghana and around 63,000 people in Benin.

The Ife speak Ife , a yoruboid language .
