Igo (also: Ahlon , Achlo , Anlo , Ago , Ahlõ , Ahonlan , Ahlon-Bogo ) is the language of the Igo (also: Ahlo).
The Igo live mainly in Togo , their language is threatened with extinction.
The information provided by the speakers is only estimated at around 6,000 (1995). The speakers of the Igo mainly live in the Plateaux region , in the Peyeme prefecture in the area around Bogo-Ahlon in and around the village of Sassanou.
Igo belongs to the large language group of the Kwa languages and the group of so-called Togo remnants .
