Ilta-Sanomat (German: Abendnachrichten) is the largest Finnish tabloid and, based on its circulation, the second largest newspaper in the country. Its circulation was just under 215,000 in 2000, but has declined in recent years and in 2013 was only around 118,358 copies. The Helsinki- based newspaper, founded in 1932, sees itself as a non-partisan medium and belongs to the Sanoma media group.
