Immunity , sometimes also as a process of immunization , (adjective: immune ) stands for:
- the insensitivity of an organism to antigens, pathogens and poisons, see immunity (medicine)
- the protection of elected officials and foreign dignitaries from criminal prosecution, see political immunity
- the protection of diplomats from criminal, civil and administrative prosecution in the host country, see diplomatic immunity
- the protection of states from the jurisdiction of foreign states, see state immunity
- in legal history a privileged place for consecrated places, see ecclesiastical immunity
- the protection of cultural property abroad, e.g. for loans, see Objective immunity of cultural property
- a defense against rational criticism, see immunization strategy
