Inci Y.

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Books about the life of a Turkish woman in Germany, which were put on paper by the journalist Jochen Faust, appear under the pseudonym Inci Y. , which Faust and the publishing house Piper Verlag identify as autobiographical life reports.

According to Piper, born in Germany in 1970, the author grew up in Ankara until she was eleven. She then lived in Germany for six years before she was forcibly married in Turkey. Meanwhile divorced, Inci Y. lives in Germany again.

  • Choked on your lies . Piper 2005.
  • Don't tell me about the lower class . Piper 2007. While the first book deals with her forced marriage at a young age, the second reports on exclusion in Germany. Both works experienced several editions. The former was also published in other countries, for example in 2007 in Turkish by an Istanbul publishing house.
