The Indian Lake (originally: Lewistown Reservoir ) is a lake in Logan County in the US state of Ohio . It is located in the 3 km² Indian Lake State Park . The lake itself has an area of 23 km². In winter you can ice skate on the lake. At the lake there are 43 campsites without and 416 with electricity. In the lake are the islands of Seminole Island , Orchard Island and Shawnee Island .
The lake was originally named after the nearby town of Lewistown .
