Indian Summer is the first book by the British historian Alex von Tunzelmann from 2007.

In her non-fiction book, von Tunzelmann deals with the achievement of independence and the division of India and Pakistan, taking into account the life stories of Louis and Edwina Mountbatten as well as that of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru . She relies on documents and private diaries of the protagonists.
