An Indian Maratha mace (sword blade) is a weapon from the Maratha Empire (1674 to 1818) in India.

description

An Indian Maratha mace (sword blade) has a curved, single-edged blade. The blade is forged from the shaft and bends sharply upwards after about two thirds of the length of the blade. The place is pointy. The shaft runs straight from the handle to the beginning of the blade and is round. The booklet is designed like the booklet of the Talwar and equipped with a hand guard. The mace versions in India are very different and vary in shape, length and finish. It was used by warrior caste in India.
