Indra Afia (civil: Indra Giese ) (* around 1980 in Hamburg ) is a German soul singer .

Life and music

Indra Afia grew up in a Hamburg artist family. After graduating from high school, she sang in a gospel choir , later she was a background singer in various bands. Her first album, Sein , was released in March 2007 , on which she sings German-language soul music with texts written by her. Singles were the songs Was ist Los and Gegen den Strom .
