Indrail Pass
An Indrail Pass is a rail ticket for unlimited travel without a reservation on the Indian railways network . This is issued to tourists residing outside India. The period of validity is from half a day up to 90 days.
The following people can purchase this card:
- Foreign tourists
- Foreign Indian with a valid passport
- the Indian wife of a foreign tourist
- a tour guide accompanying non-Indian tourists
The validity begins on the day of the first train journey and ends at midnight on the last day of travel. Payments can only be made in US dollars , British pounds or euros .
