The Industriehof is a listed residential and commercial building on Limmatstrasse 210–214 in the industrial district “Kreis 5” , Zurich , which was built according to plans by the architect Fritz Fischer . Built in 1930, it is one of the few buildings in this city in the style of Expressionism . It was renovated in 2014 and belongs to the category C architectural monuments with municipal significance.

The building was planned by Fritz Fischer for the Industriehof building cooperative . Fischer came from Hessen and at the time was considered a specialist in “car-friendly construction”. In Zurich he designed two more “automotive-compliant” buildings.

The Industriehof received Zurich's first underground car park. The two entrances were made easier by the rounded corners of the building. A gas station was also part of the ensemble, but only the roof and the massive structural elements have been preserved. Today the stairs to the Letten Viaduct begin under the roof .

The elongated structure of the industrial courtyard has two identical side wings. It is divided into three parts, each with its own entrances and stairwells. On the street side, pronounced cornices, terrace parapets and balconies with pipe railings emphasize the horizontals of the building. At the rear, this is shaped and loosened up by the window and staircase axes.

Stylistically, the complex with its flat roof and emphasis on the cubic features features of the New Building as well as, with its acute-angled bay windows and strong cornices, features of Expressionism, which is rare in the city.

Today there are 24 apartments on the upper floors. The ground floor and first floor are commercial areas with a variable layout thanks to the skeleton construction. In addition to parking spaces, the basement offers extensive storage space.
