Information needs

The need for information includes the quantity and quality of the necessary to solve a specific task information . A distinction is made between the objective information need determined by the task and the subjective information need perceived by the person responsible for the task. The information requirement can be determined by a methodical information requirement analysis. It is the task of information management to cover the information requirement by providing suitable internal and external resources.
