InfraServ GmbH & Co Gendorf KG ( ISG ) is an industrial service provider and site operator of the Gendorf Chemical Park in Burgkirchen an der Alz, founded in 1997 . The company provides services in the areas of supply and disposal, maintenance, infrastructure, environment, security, engineering, logistics, IT and education. InfraServ Gendorf employs around 1,100 people, including around 50 trainees . Around 50 IT vocational school students and a further 160 trainees are additionally trained on behalf of local companies and external companies in their own vocational school and in their own training center.
InfraServ GmbH & Co.Gendorf KG and is a founding member of the ChemDelta Bavaria initiative and the Naturnahe Alz e.V.
history
As part of the restructuring of the Hoechst Group, InfraServ GmbH & Co Gendorf KG was founded in 1997 as an operating company to provide infrastructure and industrial services in the Gendorf plant, which was converted into a chemical park the following year .
After the restructuring, InfraServ Gendorf established itself as an independent site operator and industrial service provider for the chemical and process industries.
InfraServ Gendorf organizes the "Gendorfer Science Slam ", which with around 700 visitors is one of the largest "Science Slams" in Bavaria.
