Ingo ohne Flamingo is the pseudonym of a German pop singer and party artist from Berlin , who became famous between 2017 and 2018 for the single Saufen - mornings, lunchtimes, evenings as well as his appearance in a duck mask and flamingo suit.
Career
On March 23, 2017 Ingo published the song Saufen without Flamingo via "UR-Music" and thus through self-distribution - in the morning, at noon, in the evening . Excerpts of the official music video then appeared on his YouTube channel between April and May 2017. Even before the full version was released, he published the music video of his next single Hartz 4 on YouTube and the day is yours . On September 9, 2017, the entire music video for drinking was finally released - morning, noon, evening , the track was part of several compilations at the same time.
In the course of autumn, drinking - morning, noon, and evening - received a lot of attention on several social media platforms, to which in particular its trademark, a duck mask and a flamingo suit contributed. Several bookings were made in different clubs and the download and streaming numbers increased. In December 2017, the song reached a single chart placement in Germany for the first time.
Due to the upcoming carnival season, a re-release of the song for January 26, 2018 was tackled. This was done on "Hitmix Music" a " Sony Music " sub-label for mood music. The track was released as an EP with three other versions. Furthermore, the release of a 2018 remix, a version in Dutch with Kalibah and an English version under the title Boozing was made available as a single track.
Also on January 26th, 2018 Ingo without Flamingo published the original drinking − mornings, afternoons, evenings — Follow-Up Hartz 4 and the day is yours as well as the single Wir sind immer there on “Hitmix Music” .
On February 12, 2018, the song Saufen - mornings, lunchtimes and evenings was awarded the title Faschingshit 2018 by GfK Entertainment . In the evaluation period from February 9th to 11th, it was the best-selling and most streamed carnival song. In the chart week that followed, the song reached a new top position in 28th place.
In June 2018 he recorded the duet "Already drunk again" together with party singer Ikke Hüftgold .
