Injector Linux is a free "one-disk" Linux distribution ; that is, it is small enough to fit on a floppy disk . Injector Linux is designed for various types of data recovery and manipulation operations on hard drives. It has not been further developed since 2003. The website is still being maintained.

The biggest difference compared to many other Linux distributions of this type is the ability to integrate a large number of file systems and, as far as possible, to provide full write access. The system is able to write to 25 different file systems. These include ReiserFS , ADFS , HFS , Be File System , ext3 , FAT16 , FAT32, ISO 9660 , JFS , NTFS , HPFS , ext2 , UDF .

For reasons of space, the system is based on the Linux kernel 2.4.23. The only other software available is BusyBox 0.60 and some software for maintaining hard disks (badblocks, fdisk, bzip2, lsattr, chattr, fdformat, strings and srm).
