Insafe

Insafe is a European network of national organizations that aim to raise awareness of safe and responsible use of the Internet among young people. A total of 27 countries in Europe participate in this youth media protection . The coordination office is in Brussels.

Foundation and goals

Insafe was co-founded by the European Commission's Safer Internet program. Every country in the Insafe network has a so-called national awareness center that implements campaigns, coordinates actions, creates national synergies and promotes cooperation on a European level. Insafe and all national centers are funded by the European Commission's Safer Internet Program . The European Schoolnet took on the role of the network coordinator at European level.

The members organize the annual Safer Internet Day .

In addition to the European countries, other members are participating supporters of Insafe:
