An insect potions is a watering hole with low or no flow rate with shallow shore access , the insects of all kinds offers the possibility to its edge water to absorb.

In order to help insects in the hot summer months, artificial insect drinkers can be set up, for example a half-filled coconut bowl or clay bowls of all kinds with marbles , also a soap dish filled with marbles and water and the like. Bees like to land on branches, stones or trunks next to the water source and then suck on damp wood or stones in the kettle, also on the edge of a full tub or on damp moss in the kettle, etc.
