Williams Pond

The Williams Pond is a pond in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Wright Valley , it is 0.6 km north of the eastern end of Hoffman Ledge on the Labyrinth Plain .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2004 after the New Zealander M. W. (Max) Williams, who had supervised the New Zealand drilling team in the drilling project in the Antarctic Dry Valleys between 1973 and 1976 .
