Insector

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Insectors is a computer-animated television series produced by the French production company Fantôme from 1992 to 1994. In Germany, the series was shown in the Käpt'n Blaubär -Club.

The series takes place on a fictional planet that is inhabited by two different insect populations. On the one hand there are the Würks, who hate colors and happiness above all else and who ruthlessly cut down flowers and plants to heat their queen's apartments. On the other hand, there are the happy people who love colors and music and who have to prevail over and over again against the Würks.

Insectors was produced before Pixar's computer-animated film Toy Story and is one of the first computer-animated television series ever.
