Institute for Criminology at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen

The Institute of Criminology was at the 1962 University of Tübingen is the first German criminological founded University Institute.

In accordance with the traditional connection between criminology and law in Germany , the institute is organizationally part of the Law Faculty of the University of Tübingen. The first director was the legal scientist and psychiatrist Hans Göppinger . Jörg Kinzig has been the current director since October 1, 2011 .
