Institute for school quality of the states of Berlin and Brandenburg
The Institute for School Quality of the States of Berlin and Brandenburg (ISQ) eV is an independent scientific institution at the Free University of Berlin . It advises schools, school administrations and educational politicians from both countries with the aim of further developing the quality of education in the joint educational region of Berlin-Brandenburg.
It is u. a. Responsible for the organization of the comparative work in the 3rd and 8th grades (VERA) and the intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA) in the two federal states. Resolutions of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) from 2004 on the introduction of transnational educational standards are implemented.
