Institute for World Economy and International Relations

The Institute for World Economy and International Relations ( Russian ИМЭМО ) is an economic research institute in Moscow .

The institute was founded in 1956 as the successor organization to an institute headed by Eugen Varga . It belongs to the Academy of Sciences and publishes the monthly scientific journal Mirovaja ekonomika i mezdunarodnye otnosenija .
