The institute building for agricultural engineering at Bergstrasse 120 in Dresden is an example of socialist classicism in Dresden.

description

The building was constructed in 1956/59 by the architect Kurt Bänke . It is a two-storey teaching building with a head building of 3,018 square meters of usable space. The north wing offers a lecture hall for 250 students. It was built in a "traditional way" with a "sandstone plaster facade" and a steep pitched roof. The main entrance is decorated with a "column arrangement".

Today the building houses the "Center for Integrated Natural Materials Technology" of the TU Dresden.
