Instituzioni analitiche (English: Basics of Analysis) is a mathematics textbook by Maria Gaetana Agnesi and is considered the first mathematics book by a woman. It is also the first textbook to contain differential and integral calculus . The book gained recognition in the academic world after its publication in 1748.
