management

successes

In November 2001 the Instytut Spraw Publicznych was named “Institution of the Year 2001” by the Pro Publico Bono Foundation.

Two publications by the ISP attracted international attention: Druga fala polskich reform (Second wave of Polish reforms) and Cztery reformy (Four reforms). In its special edition on Poland, The Economist named these two books as one of three basic sources of information on the subject (alongside reports from the OECD and Norman Davies ' book).

The ISP was one of the most active non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in preparing the referendum on joining the European Union and the referendum campaign. His concept of a two-day vote enabled the constitutionally required participation of at least 50% of the population.

activities

The Instytut Spraw Publicznych conducts research and social analysis and offers recommendations for policy.

In the past, the ISP developed reform proposals for key areas of society and politics. The institute has access to a broad network of employees from science, society and politics. The ISP publishes the results of its work in the form of books and strategy papers. The publications are made available to members of parliament and government, the media and non-governmental organizations. The ISP also organizes seminars, conferences and readings.
