Integrated Global Observing Strategy

Integrated Global Observing Strategy (IGOS) is the organizational framework for earth observation systems supported by the G7 states since 1984, which uses satellite systems and surface-based systems to record global environmental observations of the atmosphere , seas and land surfaces. The international user groups are coordinated by the national space agencies in the Committee on Earth Observing Satellites (CEOS)
