Günne interdisciplinary college

The Günne interdisciplinary college is a one-week spring school that takes place every year in Günne am Möhnesee . The course program consists of the areas of artificial intelligence , neurobiology , cognitive science and neuroinformatics . The organizer of the Interdisciplinary College (IK) is the Gesellschaft für Informatik .

history

The IK emerged from the Artificial Intelligence Spring School (KIFS). The first IK took place in 1997. In 1999 there was no IK. The IK has been held annually since 2000. The focus topics of IKs were:

program

The program consists of basic, method, practical and special courses, with one basic course from each of the four subject areas. The special courses illuminate the respective focus topic from the perspective of the four areas. The program is rounded off by a poster session , evening lectures and discussion events.

The venue is the KAB-Heinrich-Lübke-Haus family education center in Günne am Möhnesee.
