Association of regional passenger traffic in southern Thuringia
The Association of Regional Passengers in South Thuringia eV (IVRPV) was an association of rail and bus companies in the South Thuringia region . The association continued the cooperative tasks for the local public transport in southern Thuringia after the dissolution of the Suhl transport combine and the formation of municipal or private bus companies after 1989. In 1995 a study on the founding of the association was carried out, which, however, was not implemented by the districts. In the years that followed, timetable coordination and the issuing of timetables were pushed forward and a modern technical basis was created for this. Today this is part of the Thuringian data hub , the Thuringia-wide timetable information for public transport.
The association recently had a voluntary management and one employee. In 2013 it was merged with the marketing cooperation Bus Thüringen eV (MBT), founded in 2003, into the Bus & Bahn Thüringen eV (BBT) .
