The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials ( IAPMO ) is a professional association of plumbers in the United States . The Philadelphia- based association was founded in 1926.

Today it is important as the publisher of the standards Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa & Hot Tub Code (USPSHTC) and Uniform Solar Energy & Hydronics Code (USEHC), which together as Uniform Codes are known.
