International Classification of Primary Care

The International Classification of Primary Care (ICPC) is a medical classification specially developed for the needs of primary care and general and family medicine . The second edition (ICPC-2) from 2003 is currently (2010). In contrast to the ICD-10 , no diagnoses are coded, but rather advice.

structure

The ICPC-2 has two axes. It comprises 17 chapters (A – Z) for the organ systems, each of which is divided into seven components that describe the reason for the consultation.
