The International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems ( IROS for short ) is an international IEEE and RSJ conference on robotics . Alongside the ICRA , the IROS is one of the most important conferences in robotics. The conference has been taking place in different locations worldwide in Europe, North America and Asia since 1988.

In 2017 it took place in Vancouver . In 2018 IROS was held in Madrid and in 2019 it will be held in Macau.
