International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations

The International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations (IFALPA) is a worldwide association of national professional associations of pilots . IFALPA was founded in 1948 and is based in Montreal , Canada .

She is responsible for the international representation of the pilots, especially at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Furthermore, the work in various working groups tries to define international standards for safety in air traffic and to implement them nationally and internationally in legislative and negotiation processes.
