US Airways Express

US Airways Express was a brand created by US Airways in 1990 for feeder and regional flights , the history of which goes back to the feeder company Allegheny Commuter of US Airways' predecessor, Allegheny Airlines , founded in 1967 . The flights were operated by various subsidiaries and independent airlines on behalf of US Airways in North America. These were Air Wisconsin , Mesa Airlines , PSA Airlines , Piedmont Airlines , SkyWest Airlines and Republic Airline . After the merger of US Airways with AMR Corporation , the US Airways Express brand was given up in October 2015 in favor of American Eagle .
